Captain Cartoon's 'Learn-to-Draw-Faces' Placemat Debuts at Rosalita's

ROSALITA'S TEX-MEX GRILL — Palm Beach caricature artist Captain Cartoon unveiled his newly-designed restaurant placemat which not only entertains kids with fun-filled activities, but engages them with easy-to-learn lessons on how to draw faces.
"Kids' activity-coloring mats are everywhere," says the Captain, "I thought it'd be ideal to sprinkle some art education into the mix, given that schools aren't teaching art as they should be."
"This version teaches kids (and folks of all ages) the basics of drawing faces," he said.
The Captain released test copies of his new placemat at the renowned South Florida Tex-Mex restaurant this past Tuesday evening to guage usability, practicality, and to assess user response. "Results were better than expected," says the Captain. "When folks voluntarily express their appreciation without being prompted, that's a good sign."
Captain Cartoon previously taught cartooning and drawing at a northern community college, and often made guest appearances in classrooms.
