Why Captain Cartoon's Caricatures are Bar and Bat Mitzvah Favorites

Palm Beach caricature artist Captain Cartoon recognizes and respects the importance and significance of Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and strives to provide memorable portraits and caricatures which will hang on your and your guests' walls for years to come.

Functioning as an entertainer for the festive side of these events, the Captain entertains your guests in several unique ways: Folks enjoy not only charature artist drawing receiving a caricature, but watching as each masterpiece is completed. While his primary goal is to achieve a likeness, that can be accomplished either through '"realistic" OR "exaggerated" caricatures. Captain Cartoon can do both kinds.

This five-some was drawn at a post-Bar Mitzvah home party, the Captain's second appearance for this family.

Black & white drawings
Like most caricaturists, the Captain will usually draw in black & white (with shading highlights) for speed. This assures that the greatest number of people will get caricatures. Captain Cartoon can draw 12-15 normal black & white face caricatures per hour — and 20 "quickies" per hour.

Captain Cartoon ALSO uses color
The Captain's a master at color, and will use color upon the host's request.

Parents want the Captain's caricatures too!
Once parents see the "soft-look" portraits drawn by the Captain, they line up with the kids.

T-Shirt Caricatures
The Captain can also draw directly on T-shirts (provided by the host.)

Captain Cartoon drew these two girls' caricatures directly on a single T-shirt at a recent Bar Mitzvah.

Posters of the party guests
At one "pirate-themed" event, the Captain drew thumbnails of each party guest on a piece of posterboard which the hostess kept as a memento. Guests still received regular caricatures.

Family caricatures
Captain Cartoon has frequently drawn a "grand finale" poster for the guest of honor's family.
