Santa Weeps at Sandy Hook
I've drawn nearly 35,000 caricatures, the vast majority of them children 
— and many from the northeast. Through my vast experience interacting with these angels, I feel a huge sense of loss over the Sandy Hook tragedy.
I continue to grieve over this mindless, despicable act, and pray for the victims and their families.

Captain Cartoon appeared at the Orange Bowl AND BCS Championship Games Jan. 1 and 7, 2013.

Captain Cartoon has appeared regularly with other top Florida caricaturists at the official Orange Bowl Tailgate Party event since 2008!

ATLANTIS — Captain Cartoon has posted an online "Virtual Caricature Wall of Fame" featuring happy patrons of Rosalita's Tex-Mex Grill in Atlantis! The hugely popular Mexican food restaurant boasts the latest "Hall of Fame" by the colorful Lantana caricature artist, whose previous caricature walls appeared in the former Wings Plus in Boca, and at Beef 'O' Bradys in Boynton Beach.
Another ongoing caricature wall of fame can be seen at the Sunrise Theatre Las Olas Cinema in Fort Lauderdale, and the Captain's South Florida caricatures can be found on the walls of Hurricane Alley in Boynton Beach!
Undoubtedly one of the most-caricatured caricature artists in the universe, Captain 
Cartoon was once again on the receiving end of an artist's pen,
this time by thebirthday girl at her own party!

Florida watercolorist Carol Ann Sherman, who recently gifted the Florida cartoonist with an impromptu full-color cartoon portrait at the Boynton Beach Blvd Duffy's Sports Grill. Carol appears throughout South Florida giving watercolor demonstrations, and has produced a number ofmasterpieces, not counting the one she's working on here. The Captain first illustrated the 8-page booklet back in 1986, and has since modified the artwork to reflect contemporary times — even replacing Gangbuster's "silly" superhero boots with "more hip" sneakers!
